Color additives and dyes used in food, drugs, cosmetics, and medical devices must be approved by the U.S. FDA.
The approval for the use of color additives and dyes varies depending on the specific additive. For many color additives and dyes, approval is granted based on "batch certification," where batch samples are submitted to the FDA for testing to ensure they meet the specifications described in the relevant regulations.
We will assist food, beverage, and dietary supplement manufacturers in providing proof to the FDA to ensure that color additives are certified and approved by the FDA.
Prior to this, we will provide the evaluation of color additives and batch certification. We will complete the batch certification and approval process.
The U.S. FDA strictly regulates color additives used in the production of food, beverages, and dietary supplements. All color additives must be accurately declared on product labels. The use of unapproved color additives violates FDA regulations.
